Sunday Glue

It's a safe day for glue sniffing

No reason to stop breathing

on a Sunday afternoon

Glue with smell of milk and honey

Makes the world so pretty funny

but it's ending very soon

Heard about a party spoiler

He comes right out of a hellish boiler

and shakes a spear in his hand

Day and night he sticks around

Piercing glue bags without sound

watching glue becoming sand

Sunday glue (for me, for you)

Sunday is his only day-off

When he mends his shabby waistcloth

and forgets about the time

He's a man of means and measures

And he hates our simple pleasures

still believing it's a crime
